Who do we do it for
  • Homecoming students, students returning from exchange, are supported in the reintegration process in their home countries by local sections, while staying connected to an international environment.
  • ESN also provides advice and suggestions to all outgoing students who will go on exchange, using our wide network.
  • The main focus of ESN is on current exchange students, who often face challenges in their new environment. Therefore, ESN works to improve the social, practical, and academic integration of international students.

How do we do it?

How do we do it
  • This is mainly done through activities in local sections, including cultural and social events such as trips within the country, movie nights, language projects, international food festivals, and parties.
  • Many sections have introduced ESNbuddy systems, which help international students with academic and practical integration.
  • By operating on three levels (local, national, and international), we represent the needs and rights of international students.
  • ESN also provides relevant information and encourages future exchange students to gain international experience and cultural insight.

Why do we do it?

Why do we do it
  • "Mobility is a lifestyle!" We believe mobility shapes European citizenship, improves opportunities, broadens horizons, and enhances multicultural understanding.
  • We believe ESN is the right network to address these issues because we have experience, knowledge, real-life mobility experience, and can take a different approach than institutions typically offer.
